Arrb – Future of Road Surveying – 3D Technical Animation

The Brief

A 3d visualization we created for a client's presentation on how their R4 million truck can survey the road while on the move using lasers. We had to get up close and personal with the monster vehicle and measure every little device to build the 3d model to scale.

Challenges / Solutions
  • Aside from creating a 3D video for our client, we also got involved with rebranding their logo and signage. We worked alongside an outside party for this part.
  • Because this particular project was architectural in nature, there were numerous revisions, adjustments and changes to the building plans, which we had to coordinate with the video.

Outcomes

  • Our client was so impressed with our work that they asked us to carry out two more projects for them; a presentation and a punchy, dynamic radio advertisement.
  • We learned a lot about architectural design, the planning that goes into it and we got to meet with a great variety of professionals who are integral parts of such large architectural projects.
