Pyro Media had the pleasure to work with the South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMA) and SABC. We produced all the 3d Motion Graphics for the events including logo build, titles and nominee categories. The events have been aired on SABC 1 and our beautiful graphics were shown to millions of South Africans. We have now compiled a showreel with all the years of working together

The SATMA AWARDS slogan is My Culture, Your Culture, One Nation. This slogan was chosen in line with the vision which seeks to unify all African ethnic, racial groups and Africans within the Diaspora through Traditional Music. SATMA AWARDS gives traditional music its rightful status and role in South African Arts & Culture in the preservation of our Heritage. SATMA AWARDS recognized this void; therefore the birth of the South African Traditional Music Achievement (SATMA) Awards was incepted, where traditional music is given an appropriate platform to honour musicians by hosting a ceremonial event.
